What Are You Expecting?

Expectancy is one of the most exciting things that we have in our lives.  “Oh my stars, you are expecting, that is so great”.  This is what we often hear when first learning of a new pregnancy.  It is awesome to see that woman filled with faith about this new life forming inside of her, in spite of the fact that she can’t feel it or see it for several weeks.

This same type of expectancy is what we need for all the other aspects of life.  With the same type of hope and excitement as a pregnancy we need to anticipate all areas of our life.

What are you expecting in your life?  How about with your relationships? Are you expecting fulfillment and joy or are you expecting stress and agony?  I often hear people say, “enjoy them now, just wait until they’re teenagers”.  Refuse that kind of expectancy.  “Oh you guys are still in the honeymoon phase of your marriage, just wait till real life starts”, refuse that type of expectancy.  How about with your finances?  Are you stuck in lack mentality and believing there is no way out. “We’ll never get these bills paid off”, refuse that type of expectancy too.

When it comes to your health expectancy, it is a matter of life and death.   People expecting poor health outcomes often see this materialize in their life.  Regardless of what the physician says and regardless of what your family history indicates, you need to choose to believe for perfect health, healing and regeneration.  My five year old son Matteo just experienced the healing of his elbow in only 2weeks because of his belief.  He heard the Doctor tell the nurse assistant “in 2 weeks cast off, re-xray”.  So for two weeks he walked around telling people that his cast would be off in 2 weeks and he would be healed.  What he didn’t hear is that the doctor forecasted six weeks in the cast, the two week point was just supposed to be cast off for a re-xray.   At that two week appointment the cast came off and never went back on again.  Belief is everything.

Today I challenge you to believe for the best.  It makes all the difference.
Be Amazingly Blessed,
Dr. Matt
