It’s So Worth It
“One the most important assets you have is your health...”
In the bible, God teaches us that the road to destruction is wide, and
the road that leads to life is narrow. This clearly means that one is easy to access
and one is harder to get on. This is a solid truth when it comes to living at your full health
potential.
The wide easy path is synonymous, with no
commitment to the health of your body.
For example, it’s easier not to go to the gym; it’s easier to pick up
pre-made or packaged foods; it’s easier to just flick on the TV; it’s easier to
drive to town; it’s easier to send a text, and it’s easier to sleep in. All of these things are “easier”, but are not on the path that leads to the
best life.
The narrow path is harder but it is certainly
more capable of yielding the best reward. The effort required to exercise, prepare a healthy natural meal, read
a book, walk to town, call a friend and wake up early all yield a much greater
result.
When I look at the healthiest patients I have in
this office, they are all people who are engaged in multiple processes that are
part of the narrow path.
I always tell patients that it’s not easy to be
healthy in today’s world, but it is so worth it. One the most important assets you have is your health. You want to invest your time and money into
it so that you can continue to be at your best.
The area’s to concentrate on are
1- Proper
function in your nerve system
2- Healthy
nutrition – foods by God
3- Movement
– get oxygen moving in your body
4- Eliminate
Toxins
5- De-stress
and get plenty of rest
Be Blessed,
Dr. Matt.
