YOU were created for GREATNESS!

You Were Created for Greatness

Alarm goes off
and a feeling of tiredness looms.  After a quick shower, and brush of the teeth, you get dressed and out the door you go.  If you’re lucky, you had time to fill your tumbler with some fresh java and you sip that on the ride to work.  While sipping your coffee, the radio echoes in the background about the horrendous traffic, the looming rain storm and the latest onslaught of crime that took place the night before.

You punch the clock, listen to your negative co-worker, take your lunch break and punch out at the end of the day.  The radio broadcast repeats on the drive home as you think about the fact that the fridge is empty, there’s nothing for dinner, little Suzie has music, little Johnny has hockey and the night time whirl wind begins.  Once the kids get to bed, you’re so exhausted that numbing out to TV sounds the easiest, so you and your spouse take up separate couches and drift off into reality TV never land.  Then you go up to bed, and repeat it all again tomorrow.  Is it Friday yet??
If this sounds remotely familiar, let me assure you, you’re not alone.  This is how the majority of people seem to be existing nowadays.  THE PROBLEM IS…YOU WERE MADE FOR MORE THAN THIS.
You were made to thrive NOT survive.
How do you thrive?  It starts by removing yourself from the draining ways of the world.  The bible tells us that we need to be continually renewing our minds.  This is not what happens when we listen to the news and read the paper.  Renewing your mind is about reading/engaging in things like life-giving scripture, books that grow you spiritually, and spending time around others who do the same thing.
Next, engaging in healthy disciplines is critical.  Have your spine and nerve system functioning at its best with specific principled chiropractic.  Eat God-made nutritious foods, schedule in time for high intensity exercise daily, and turn of the TV, computer, cell phone.  Start having more meaningful conversations with real people.
It is important to have a vision for your life and to re-ground yourself in that vision frequently.  Otherwise, the ways of the world will knock you off track.

You were made for
greatness.  Do whatever it takes to engage in this.  Nothing will fill you up and make you feel more whole than moving towards your authentic life purposes.

Be Blessed,
Dr. Matt
